Hello. We're KAOS.

Hi there. Welcome to the newly jumpstarted blog for KAOS 89.3 FM.

I’ll introduce myself. My name is Paul Pearson, host of the new KAOS program The Music Show. I’ve been in and out of the KAOS orbit since 1994. Now I’m a working satellite again and enjoying it very much.

A gang of KAOS veterans and some students have been working on bringing the station back to prominence. Like many public stations, KAOS was brought to a relative standstill during the pandemic years. Right now — in a moment absolutely crucial for public media in America — we’re working to bring more original, hosted programming, independent music and news, and a stronger public presence back to our listeners.

Just a note to keep watching this space for more dynamic content and reports on KAOS’s new efforts. Also feel free to hit our Facebook page while the platform still exists. We’ll have more ways to interact with KAOS in the coming months.
